Learning how to perform accurate, timely and professional ADAS calibrations... 7 steps at a time.

About us

Taking the Lead in ADAS Education. It’s time to take action in an area that’s been greatly under-served. I’ve launched an educational initiative to dispel the myths and misinformation surrounding ADAS in today’s vehicles. Through this initiative, I aim to: - 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞: Share the proper methods of target alignment using the 7 Step ADAS system, crucial for the accurate functioning of vehicle ADAS processes. - 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞: Inspire more people to learn about these seemingly complex automated systems that are becoming commonplace in everyday vehicles. - 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦: Highlight the serious consequences of improper ADAS servicing. - 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞: Discuss the various levels of equipment and methods available for ADAS calibration. Join us in enhancing your knowledge and skills in ADAS calibration, ensuring both accuracy and profitability in your services.

𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬: 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐈'𝐦 𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐀 𝐅𝐚𝐧 ⚠️ Today’s lesson: Not all tools are created equal, especially when precision is the name of the game. I tackled a calibration with a John Beam setup using wheel adapters. What did I find? 🔹 Placement isn’t as accurate as lasers. 🔹 It's H̳E̳A̳V̳Y̳ 🔹 Results? Failed calibration. 𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐏𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐍𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐋𝐘 @ 𝐅𝐀𝐔𝐋𝐓!! Tools that “make it easy” don’t always make it right. That’s why we use lasers and our 7 Step ADAS to eliminate guesswork and get near perfect results. You’ll see the difference when we redo the Subaru calibration —with the Texa RCCS2 system and the precision the process achieves. Ever fought with wheel adapters? Let’s hear about your experience. #ADAS #Calibration #AutoRepair

𝐀𝐃𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧. Today, I worked on a John Beam setup in a completely unfamiliar shop—out of my element and into someone else’s calibration chaos. The floor was uneven. The salesman swore the machine would “compensate for it.” (Check those bubbles ⬆️ – they tell a different story.) Here’s what we learned: 1️⃣ 𝐔𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐬 = 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. No matter what anyone says, you can’t have the target and car on two different slopes. 2️⃣ 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 ≠ 𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬. Placement accuracy matters—lasers win. 3️⃣ 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐨𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥. The shop said the car would be fine. By the time we were done, the battery was dead. Ultimately, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐝—with or without my 7-Step System. But this wasn’t just a failure. It was a learning experience: ✅ 𝐀 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝, 𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞 for calibrations isn’t optional—it’s essential. ✅ Troubleshooting becomes impossible when your environment works against you. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞: Wednesday, I’ll do the exact same calibration at my shop using my 7-Step ADAS System with the Texa RCCS setup. Let’s see what a proper environment and process does for results. Stay tuned. #ADAS #Calibration #LessonsLearned #AutoRepair #Alignment
