A large Charlotte area manufacturing facility lost a production machine critical to its overall operations. The cause was the failure of a 50HP motor. Unfortunately, the failure was after hours. ➡️ Fortunately, they knew to contact our sales team who sprung into action. We checked our inventory on our online inventory system and identified that we did have the motor in stock. ➡️ After a bit of travel time to pick up and transport, the customer had their replacement motor within 60 minutes and was back up and running within 2 hours. Our repair center was then able to repair the failed motor, creating a spare for future needs. 💥 Always committed to our mission: We Keep Your Business Running!

💫 Most people think only large motors are rewound anymore. Not always the case! Often, specialty or long lead time replacement options can make a rewind your best option. Ensure good temperature control through the burn process, ask for core loss test results, and make sure proper insulation materials are rated for your use. Your rewinds can last many years to come! #technicalexcellence #electricmotors #electricmotorrepair #industrialelectrician

💥 This is a great example of our rewind process! We only use Class H insulation that goes above and beyond the OEM's Class F insulation. This 200kw Square Frame Motor is connected, tied down, and ready for the dip and bake process before assembly and a test run. We also conduct a core loss test before and after burnout to verify that the laminations have not been compromised and ensure that a newly rewound motor is operating at peak efficiency. #technicalexcellence

🔥 A large North Carolina manufacturer had an emergency shutdown at their plant one evening caused by fire. ✔️ A&W crews mobilized and were onsite within hours, made the area electrically safe, and worked through the night and the following day to get the plant up and running. ✔️ Once energized, A&W Infrared Technicians surveyed all the bus bars and bus switches to ensure a safe installation. #technicalexcellence #getitdone #superiorservice

One of the most requested service requests is a technician to troubleshoot and diagnose the electrical components of their machine, motor control circuit, etc. For almost two years, Brandon Smith has been helping our customers solve and repair problems related to machine controls, HVAC motor and building control circuits, VFD’s, and transformers. He is a great example of exactly what the “roots” of A&W Electric's success has been for the past 25+ years. Quick response, strong technical knowledge, and the absolute persistence required to stick with the problem until discovered and resolved. That’s what makes a great troubleshooter. If you need an emergency service call, please reach out. We know that when your equipment is down, you're losing time and money. We can help.

💫 As in most repairs, preparing for the repair is more than half the battle! Here, our machining team is making sure a flanged surface is truly centered to ensure the bearing housing is truly concentric when repaired. #technicalexcellent #electricmotor #electricmotorepair

Another way We Keep Your Business Running! 🙁 Large gearboxes often have long lead times. ☺️ In order to help shorten downtime, we build several internal components in-house and have sourcing capabilities for those that cannot be made. #technicalexcellence #motorrepair #electricmotor #electricmotorrepair
