League Communicators rolled up their sleeves at the AACUL Winter Conference with several workshops and working sessions: incorporating AI to increase productivity, collaborating on a content calendar for 2025, and developing a future-focused social media strategy for Leagues. Meanwhile, League Foundation Directors are having informative sessions of their own, focused on sharing best practices, using data to deepen financial inclusion at credit unions, aligning leadership with mission to deepen impact, and leveraging key partnerships. #AACUL #creditunions #AI #Collaboration #LeagueSystem Víctor Corro, LeAnn Case , Christie Kimbell Steven Miller Abby Trauth MS, CCUFC

A strong Credit Union League System is a critical component of a thriving credit union industry.
About us
The American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL) is the national association for the state and regional credit union leagues/associations throughout the United States. AACUL cultivates the success of individual leagues as well as the collective League System by supporting league efforts to advocate, communicate, collaborate, and influence policy on behalf of credit unions nationwide. We do this by providing advocacy support to yield impact, fostering collaboration and professional development for league staff, and representing the League System to America’s Credit Unions and other industry partners in order to protect and advance a vibrant credit union system.

AACUL Winter Conference Peer Collaboration tracks continued this morning – and we were joined by many League Board Chairs! Thank you for participating and for your leadership! Highlights from our many morning sessions included the AACUL Advocacy Committee briefing League Presidents and League Chairs on yesterday’s 2025 Advocacy Strategy session to align strategies and next steps for seamless coordination throughout the year. This group benefited from an informative panel about the future of Chevron Deference with Melia Heimbuck, David Gosset, and Carrie Hunt. They also heard from Council of Federal Home Loan Banks President Ryan Donovan, Inclusiv President Cathie Mahon, American Share Insurance COO Kurt Loose and VP of Advocacy Jennifer Kelly. #AACUL #creditunions

There were so many great sessions at the AACUL Winter Conference this afternoon! One highlight was a session where League Advocates from all across the country and the America’s Credit Unions Advocacy Team came together for several hours to collaborate on a 2025 Advocacy Strategy. Today’s conversation paved the way for a unified and impactful approach to advancing the credit union movement on Capitol Hill in 2025. Let’s make next year one of meaningful advocacy wins! Thank you to @Velera for an awesome #DEI Tuesday reception to round out Day 1 of the AACUL Winter Conference! #AACUL #Advocacy #CreditUnions #LeagueSystem #Leadership

Registration is OPEN! We are excited to kick off the AACUL Winter Conference in the morning with impactful discussions, engaging panels and collaborative sessions tailored for our League leaders. This afternoon kicks off five (!!!) Peer Collaboration tracks for League Presidents, League Advocacy professionals, League Communication experts, League Foundation Executive Directors and League Service Corporation leadership. The Credit Union Movement was presented with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals' Founders Award earlier this year for all the amazing work done through Credit Unions for Kids. When you stop by registration, take your picture with the award, and share it on social media. And don’t forget the “meetings before the meeting!” This morning, the League Advocacy teams in the Western Region and Austin De Bey are meeting with NCUA, the AACUL Executive Board has a meeting, and the Credit Union House on Capitol Hill is meeting – all before the meetings “start”! #AACUL #creditunions #leadership
