Did you know? International air transport has been regulated since 1929 by the Warsaw Convention, which was modernized in 1999. It's the only transport treaty that covers both passenger and cargo transport. The liability limits can be reviewed every 5 years, and this year marks another opportunity for revision. Did you know that the COTIF-CIM Convention is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year? This convention, introduced in 1999, governs the international rail transport of goods, providing a uniform legal framework among participating countries. It has significantly simplified cross-border logistics within Europe and beyond, making rail transport a more efficient and reliable option for freight. A quarter-century of improved rail cooperation!
