Last week ABX has successfully completed its 4th Lean Leader Training Workshop conducted by Greg Fields from Continuous Systematic Improvement, LLC at our Macedon, NY facility. The program focused on Daily Visual Management, Root Cause/Corrective Action Problem Solving, Kaizen facilitation, and practical application of lean principles on the shop floor. On Wednesday, February 21, our team members from Columbus, GA and Homer, LA attended Web Handling Training hosted at our Homer Plant led by Mack Rhoden, ABX Director of Quality. Team members discussed various situations that occur through the Extrusion process such as tension and taper settings, roller alignment (level and tram), wrinkle prevention, and roll deformities. Team members were able to implement learnings from this training in real time on an one of the Homer extrusion lines, sharing ideas on improvements in order to enhance both of the Columbus and Homer operations. #OneABX #ContinuousImprovement #UpSkilling #ABX
