Academy Sports + Outdoors giveback snapshot: $5,000 for 15 female student athletes in Houston, TX. ICYMI, National Girls and Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) is recognized in February, and we celebrated by donating to the Wheatley High School Girls Flag Football Team. 💪 🏈 To go for extra points, Houston Texans Defensive End Will Anderson Jr. made an appearance and helped the young athletes shop our store to gear up for their upcoming season. He is a supporter of the Texans Girls Flag Football program, which launched in 2023 to create opportunities for young female athletes in Houston. Fun fact💡Flag football is played by over 20 million people across 100+ countries, making it one of the most accessible formats of football. Thirty young football players got $3,000 and scored new football skills all because Academy Sports + Outdoors teamed up with Nike to give big for the Big Game in the Big Easy. Here’s the story👇 Nike partnered with the YMCA and the Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America to help kids ages 8–14 level up their skills at their Football 4 All Camp. 🏈🙌 When they arrived at camp, top national and local coaches gave these kids the fun of a lifetime. Academy went for the touchdown by surprising each kid with a $100 shopping spree at our Metairie, LA, store. We ended the holiday season on a high note! Throughout the season, Academy Sports + Outdoors gave back over $225K to support communities in our footprint and help more families have more fun together. Our store Team Members delivered holiday magic✨ with our annual “Traveling Santa” 🎅program and surprised customers by paying for their gift purchases.🎁 Over $66K was given to hundreds of customers who were generously shopping for others in need. Additionally, nearly $32K supported our law enforcement partners👮in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia, and Louisiana as we hosted shop-with-a-cop events to benefit hundreds of kids within their local organizations. 💙 Through these programs and more, we’re thankful to everyone who played a part in delivering an extra holly jolly time to customers in our stores. ☺️ #PositiveImpact #HaveFunOutThere #HolidayGiving #Givebacks #Community

Academy Sports + Outdoors’ contribution of $20,000 in gifts and donations + a visit from a Dallas Cowboys player brought bushels of fun to children in Dallas-area hospitals and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas! 🎄🎁 Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons shopped our Frisco, TX, store before he suited up as Santa Claus to deliver over $5,000 in gifts from Academy to local children. 🏈🎅 In partnership with the Lion Heart Foundation founded by Micah himself, we were thrilled to provide an additional $15,000 to help his foundation continue making a difference for kids in need. ‘Twas right before Christmas, when all through our stores… They wore Santa hats, elf ears, and reindeer antlers galore! Our store Team Members are bringing the merry and bright. During our annual Holiday Spirit Days throughout December, we had fun spreading joy to our customers, while sporting festive apparel from our partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and our exclusive Magellan Outdoors Christmas Collection.
