We believe that education cannot be one size fits all.
About us
We are a leading provider of non-traditional programming for students aged 16-21 who are at-risk of dropping out of high school, who have already dropped out or who just do not fit the traditional high school experience. Serving students in some of the largest school districts, ALS Education LLC manages 24 schools in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. We believe that education cannot be “one size fits all” and many students just need something different than a traditional high school setting offers. Our schools are small, teacher-led, technology-enhanced learning environments that offer flexible scheduling, a self-paced mastery-based instructional model, intensive on-site wraparound social services, and individualized career and college planning support. Our schools provide students the opportunity to get back on track in their learning by building basic skills and meeting requirements for graduation. Looking beyond graduation, we provide extensive career and college readiness training to prepare students with the skills and planning for life after high school. Our schools are tuition-free public charter schools offering an accredited high school diploma (not a GED).

Partnerships are essential to our mission of supporting students and families. One of the key elements of our service model is ensuring students have the resources they need—both inside and outside the classroom. A special thanks to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida for their incredible support in helping stock our school food pantries. Thanks to their partnership, we’re able to help students and families facing food insecurity, providing the stability they need to thrive academically and beyond. Together, we’re making a difference—one meal and one milestone at a time. #CommunityImpact #FoodInsecurity #StudentSuccess Accelerated Learning Solutions

Our Team’s Words, Our Mission in Action!... I’m thrilled to share this word cloud, created directly from our employee feedback on the Trust Index™ survey. Each word reflects the heart and soul of our team members—their passion, dedication, and belief in our mission. Words like "students," "school," "mission," "love," and "team" stand out, showcasing our deep commitment to creating a supportive and impactful environment for those we serve. It’s clear that our mission resonates deeply, with every member working together to make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth. What makes this truly special is knowing that these words come from our team—the people who live and breathe our values every day. Their voices are not just heard; they shape our culture, drive our work, and fuel our collective success. To our amazing team—thank you for all that you do. You are the reason we grow, thrive, and succeed in transforming lives and offering second chances. Together, we are creating a future filled with opportunities, one student and family at a time. After celebrating our largest graduating class ever in 2024, we’re thrilled to recognize a major milestone for ALS Education: 20,000 graduates! So many of our students never believed they could graduate. Each of them, from our first graduating class to today, stands as a testament to what’s possible with a flexible model and collaborative partnerships. A collaboration that shapes an education around the unique needs of every student, proving that with the right environment, every student can succeed. To every graduate who has walked across that stage with their diploma in hand, and to every family member, teacher, friend, and every member of our communities who walked along side and supported their journey: Thank you! To celebrate our first 20,000 graduates, we’ve been talking to our alumni about where they are now – we know the impact of a high school diploma goes so far beyond graduation day - and are excited to start dropping regularly scheduled alumni stories for you. Stay tuned! It’s been an incredible journey. Here’s to the next 20,000 success stories! Accelerated Learning Solutions

The ALS 2023-24 school year wrapped up with ten amazing commencement ceremonies attended by 2,680 graduates and over 8,000 family members, friends and supporters! Despite having arrived at an ALS school on average 2 years behind, 58% of these graduates caught up to graduate on time with their cohort! And best yet, 78% are going on to college or technical school, 4% are enlisted in the United States Military, and 15% are entering the workforce (many with industry certifications earned while attending our schools)! The future is big for these young people and we are honored to have walked beside them on their path toward graduation.
