Their expertise in technology and innovation will be invaluable as we work together to unlock the full potential of ocean data for a sustainable future. 🌍 The announcement was made at our recent joint event Ocean Data Action Day in Oslo. Our report, Tides of Transparency, which was published at the event, revealed that only 3% of publicly available ocean biodiversity data comes from the private sector. This industrial data is very important to help close knowledge gaps, as we are heading in to the biggest build-out of the ocean space, needing 9xmore energy and 6x more blue food. And we are determined to close this gap!
