The Accessibility User Research Collective (AURC) provides customized user research services connecting product developers with people with disabilities. We maintain a national database of over 1500 individuals with all types of disabilities and diverse demographics who provide feedback on use, usability, accessibility, and overall customer experience.
Our services include research protocol and data collection instrument development, recruiting, screening, data collection, analysis and reporting.
Our methods include survey research, in-depth interviewing, product testing and task analysis, customer journey mapping, ethnographic research, and eye-tracking research/time-motion studies.
Our diverse team of UX researchers includes professionals in social sciences, biomedical engineering, speech-language pathology, and humanities. The AURC is housed in the Virginia C. Crawford Research Institute at Shepherd Center, an independent rehabilitation hospital based in Atlanta, Georgia dedicated to treating people with traumatic injury and other neurological conditions.
