About us

Visit: acmearmature.com for Acme Armature Work's capabilities. We were formerly known as Sheboygan Armature Works, Inc. I purchased the company in September 2016. The two former owners, Dale and Dave, continue to actively work for the company. They have over 75 combined years of experience in the electric motor/pump/generator repair and rewind business. In addition, I have over 16 years of experience in the business, with an emphasis in servo motor and spindle motor repair. Acme Armature Works can repair AC/DC electric motors (up to 5000HP), high-speed spindle motors, AC/DC brush and brushless servo motors, and a wide variety of pumps, gearboxes, and gear reducers. In addition, we have a machine shop that specializes in small production runs. We can reverse engineer or repair parts if you are ever in need of a quick repair. We offer welding of cast Iron, Aluminum, Steel & Stainless. We can also provide in-plant emergency repair services and reliability / preventative maintenance services. Acme Armature Works also provides free pickup, delivery, and estimates! 24-Hour Service Call 920 452 3389

  • Why do we need a servo shop? In short, servos have unique components that require specialized repair and testing. AC servo motors have a variety of feedback devices. Some will have a resolver, tach hall device, or an encoder. Various units will have a combination of the three. If your shop can't test these devices, read the various signals they output, or properly align them to the servo motor then they can't be sure the unit will function properly. Taking a chance on the feedback devices without testing them properly will usually lead to more repairs and costly downtime. Avoid this by sending your servo motor to a specialized servo repair shop who has the means to properly service and test all of their unique components. #acmearmatureworksinc #servomotor #repairandmaintenance
