Why do we need a servo shop? In short, servos have unique components that require specialized repair and testing. AC servo motors have a variety of feedback devices. Some will have a resolver, tach hall device, or an encoder. Various units will have a combination of the three. If your shop can't test these devices, read the various signals they output, or properly align them to the servo motor then they can't be sure the unit will function properly. Taking a chance on the feedback devices without testing them properly will usually lead to more repairs and costly downtime. Avoid this by sending your servo motor to a specialized servo repair shop who has the means to properly service and test all of their unique components. #acmearmatureworksinc #servomotor #repairandmaintenance
