On Friday, our two Purple Star schools held special Veterans Day events. 🟣 ⭐ Lyles-Crouch Traditional Academy invited local veterans to an assembly where students sang patriotic songs. 🎶 Lieutenant Colonel Brian Graham spoke on the importance of service and how we can all put other people before ourselves. At Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School, military families were honored with a delicious breakfast. They also visited classrooms to share their experiences and explain why we celebrate Veterans Day. 💬 We’d like to extend the biggest thank you to all those who have served! 🇺🇸 We are so grateful for your sacrifice and dedication to our country.
