  • 🚨Advocacy Alert! San Antonio needs a strong and robust Transit Oriented Development (TOD) policy and we need YOUR HELP to make it happen! 🚨 🚌 The TOD policy is now headed to San Antonio's HOUSING Commission and it would be great if you would let them know that you support the TOD Task Force and City Staff's TOD policy recommendations. Also, be sure to let them know that you support their recommendations for ZERO parking requirements in the TOD zone and a 50% reduction in parking requirements in the TOD transition zone. ✅ For more details and sample statement text, scan the QR code or click this link: https://ow.ly/CwUt50Uazq6

  • When asked what the greatest needs are for cyclists 🚲 in San Antonio, it’s simple, “We need better connectivity and comfort!” 💥 That means bike lanes and trails to connect people to where they want to and need to go - school, work, grocery store, friends and family - and make the bike infrastructure comfortable enough so that a child, elderly adult, or someone who hasn’t biked in 20 years can enthusiastically and comfortably do so. We’re excited that these are also priorities of the City of San Antonio Transportation Department in the #BikeNetworkPlan and in the City of San Antonio budget. Onward to a more walkable, bikeable, and transit friendly San Antonio! Thank you to KSAT for covering current cycling issues and the work to make cycling in San Antonio far more safer and comfortable. #Cycling #Biking #SanAntonioBikes #ActiveTransportation #SanAntonio #SATX
