Using social media to advocate + support children's rights around the world.

About us

We advocate and fund projects to support basic human rights for children, including access to clean water, food, education, housing and hygiene using social media. Our Why 🌎 There is an endless need for essential resources like food, clean water, medicine, advocacy, and security. After years of small-scale digital fundraising for humanitarian projects, we realized that people wanted to be part of a solution, but felt disconnected with traditional nonprofits and didn’t trust where their donation was going . Social media bridges that gap, providing a direct connection to the communities they support through collective action. ACTUM Giving was founded to harness the power of social media, demonstrating that it's possible to create a transparent, unconventional community of passionate individuals. 100% of donations go directly to the causes we support, excluding credit card fees, with no cuts for operational costs. We fund our operations through digital marketing, social media strategies, and corporate sponsors.

We are partnering with Kupona Foundation to support reproductive healthcare in Tanzania. 🌎 In 2023, Kupona and their partner organization CCBRT conducted 482 fistula surgeries—each one costing $2,100, covering surgery and follow-up care. *An obstetric fistula is a devastating childbirth injury that occurs when prolonged labor creates a hole between the birth canal and bladder or rectum, leading to incontinence. In addition to the extreme physical and emotional pain and often losing their baby, these women are frequently ostracized from their communities.* What $2,100 Covers 💚 The $2,100 includes transportation (to and from), the surgery, a two-week stay after surgery, sewing/crochet classes, activities for women, as well as room and board. Meals and lodging are provided for fistula patients and other subsidized individuals during their two-week stay. During this time, patients participate in activities such as group singing, basic sewing, and psychosocial support groups, fostering connections among the women through shared experiences. For sewing and crocheting, there is a collaboration with The Mabinti Centre, which empowers women by offering entrepreneurial training and vocational skills, helping them start businesses and generate income. 💚 Join us and let's support reproductive freedom, an innate human right, for women globally: https://lnkd.in/gfy_adHS

  • If you're watching this, thank you for being a part of the solution for supporting human rights for kids in developing areas. From providing nutrition support and education for children in Bali to delivering hygiene kits and building water wells in Uganda, and offering reproductive care for new mothers and newborns in Tanzania—YOU made it all possible. Every child deserves food, water, healthcare, education, and a home. Through your view, comments, reposts and financial support, we have raised a few thousand dollars this year and 100% goes to these projects. From the bottom of my heart and from the kids in Bali, Tanzania, and Uganda - thank you.❤️ #nonprofit #humanrights #childrights #gratitude

  • We spent a few months working with David and the EBPP team in Bali last year and we will continue to fundraise for their projects. The East Bali Project was created out of pure selflessness, hoping to bring education and other basic human rights to hundreds of families in the "forgotten village." These are real people that deserve to live a life full of love and prosperity. #HumanRightsForAll

  • Whether you’re in the city of San Diego or in the remote communities of Bali, at its core, education equips people with the skills, knowledge, and perspective necessary to secure better opportunities and build a brighter future. Children in poverty are often denied access to quality education. The results are not just about unmet academic potential, but also about perpetuating cycles of poverty. For countless families, poverty isn’t a one-generation problem. The bottom line is, education provides job opportunities that pay enough to guarantee food on the table and a bed to sleep on. 🌎 Read more on why education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty: https://lnkd.in/gGdYrMFz

  • We must unite as a global community to uphold the fundamental human rights of every child, regardless of where they were born. Every child, no matter their circumstances or geography, deserves access to the essentials of life—clean water, nutritious food, education, healthcare, and a safe environment. It’s our shared responsibility to ensure that every child's innate rights are respected and protected

Children’s rights are human rights. However, in too many places today, children’s rights are under attack. Enough is enough. This #WorldChildrensDay, stand with children in their call for peace #ForEveryChild, everywhere.

  • It's important, now more than ever, that the people stand up to injustices. When we can't rely on leaders, it is up to community.

  • Reproductive Healthcare is a Human Right. In Tanzania, nearly one woman dies every hour from birth-related complications. This alarming reality highlights the urgent need for improved maternal care in a country with one of the highest birth rates globally.  In our newest initiative, in partnership with Kupona Foundation, we are supporting women and children in the maternal wing in Tanzania, where many women face life-threatening risks due to a lack of access to quality healthcare. Reproductive healthcare is a human right, and every mother and newborn child deserves the care needed for a safe delivery.

  • We're proud to collaborate with @KuponaFoundation & All For One Austria on two vital human rights initiatives in Tanzania and Uganda 🌍💧 In Tanzania, we're supporting women and children in the maternal wing, providing life-saving medical supplies, training healthcare workers, and supporting new mothers and newborns. Many women face life-threatening risks due to lack of access to quality healthcare—together, we're making a difference. In Uganda, we're addressing the severe water crisis affecting communities. By funding wells, we're bringing clean, safe water to children and families, preventing common, yet avoidable, deaths among children under 5. Every dollar counts. What’s $5 a month to us is life-changing for others. Let’s transform lives together 💙 #HumanRights #MaternalHealth #CleanWater #Tanzania #Uganda #ACTUMGiving #MakeADifference
