In Serce's (Sergey Tselovalnikov) most recent blog, he speaks about the impact that LLMs have on software engineers. Highlighting it can influence varies by experience level. Early-career engineers benefit from faster problem-solving but must avoid over-reliance on LLMs. Mid-level engineers use LLMs for speed but still rely on expertise for complex tasks. Staff and engineers leverage LLMs for rapid prototyping, while senior engineers remain cautious due to LLMs' limitations in handling deeply complex or niche issues. Real change often requires time, patience, and persistence. So, what are you doing to stay ready for when the pendulum for DEI swings back? Let's hear your ideas. Share below and motivate others to keep pushing forward ⬇
The list of companies rolling back DEI initiatives continues to grow, and the fear of backlash under the new administration has many playing it safe. While this trend is disheartening, I believe deeply in the power of persistence. Although the pendulum may have swung away from progress, history tells us it will swing back. When it does, staying ready will allow us to move forward with conviction, intention, and decisive action. Here's how you stay ready so you don't have to get ready: 📚 Keep learning: Stay engaged with the latest research, trends, and strategies for building diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces. Knowledge is our foundation for action. 🤝 Strengthen partnerships: Foster relationships with organizations, advocates, and allies who share a commitment to DEI. Collaboration will amplify our impact when the time is right. 🗣️ Maintain the conversation: Even if others become quiet, we must continue advocating for equitable practices and sharing stories that inspire change. Consistency is key. As individuals, leaders, and organizations, our commitment to DEI cannot waver—it is a long game worth playing. Remaining steadfast is essential, as progress remains achievable despite setbacks. 🔗 See the full list here: https://lnkd.in/g6HVSPni #DEI #InclusionMatters #EquityInAction #Leadership
