The Scottish Government yesterday launched its consultation on the third Scottish National Adaptation Programme. It's great to see, and there's a lot in there to like - lots of proposals to increase resilience, including overheating assessments in decarbonisation of public estate, and monitoring of overheating risk in in-patient facilities, as well as new commitments on business support, and defining adaptation investment working with the UK Government's Green Taxonomy Advisory Group (more on that soon). Really big congratulations to all those involved, particularly Ian Freeman Kay White and others, and can't wait to see how it evolves further through the consultation period - do have your say! I'll be poring over it in weeks ahead to see what more can be strengthened! Also delighted to see our headline numbers for CERG and the CCC on the investment need in adaptation included, with an investment need of £1.8bn by 2030. https://lnkd.in/eAXRBrSz
