It has been a pleasure for the Adelaide Drug Discovery Incubator (ADDI) to co-host the Drug Discovery and Development Forum together with the Centre for Pharmaceutical Innovation (CPI). With more than 130 researchers in attendance, this event was one of the biggest collaborative events between The University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia to date and certainly the biggest drug discovery and development-specific event at either university. 20 invited presenters from both universities gave fantastic overviews of their groups’ key research and capabilities, highlighting the diversity of skills and knowledge in therapeutic development to be combined in the new university. Additionally, more than 60 attendees showcased their skills, capabilities, and collaboration opportunities through researcher profiles and posters, providing an impressive catalogue of possible future collaborators. Thanks to all 100+ attendees who “put themselves on the map” by contributing to our Therapeutic Pipeline activity, thus helping us to identify strengths and bottlenecks in our pre-clinical therapeutic development ecosystem. Looking forward to seeing you at more of our events in 2025!
