We now need more complex and novel datasets to improve LLMs and the systems built on top of them. This is where techniques like data augmentation (enhancing existing data) and data synthesis (creating new data) come in. These methods help models evolve without hitting data bottlenecks, making them more adaptable and capable. The ability to build synthetic datasets is quickly becoming a crucial skill across industries.
