The 39th President of the United States, President Carter leaves behind a legacy of humanitarian service dedicated to advancing peace, human rights, democracy, healthcare access and economic opportunity around the world. The Carter Center, a nonprofit founded in 1982 by President Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, has been furthering President Carter’s commitment to alleviating human suffering, resolving conflicts, and enhancing freedom. The Carter Center has been operating for 42 years and is still making a difference in the world today, continuing President Carter’s lifetime devotion to helping others. Adstra Noprofit is honored to be a longtime partner of The Carter Center and all the lifechanging work they are dedicated to every day. A 2002 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize for his humanitarian efforts, President Carter said in a 2013 Washington Post interview, he wanted to be remembered “for human rights and peace”.
