📣 I am glad to announce that the first meeting of the Technology Council for Advanced Materials was successfully held on 15 November, marking a milestone in the EU’s efforts to foster innovation and collaboration in the field of advanced materials.
🌍 Bringing together high-level representatives from member states, academia and industry, the Technology Council is pivotal in addressing challenges like decarbonization, reducing dependencies, and aligning with the EU strategic goals.
🗣 After Director General Marc Lemaitre's welcome speech, key discussions focused on the integration of advanced materials with industry needs, sustainability, and the role of data infrastructures and artificial intelligence in materials science.
