New Case Study: A leader in analytical instrumentation optimized the performance of its atom probe microscope with the help of Advanced Energy’s UltraVolt High Power C Series. By connecting two UltraVolt modules in parallel, the customer achieved the required +2000 V / 400 W to power their mass-to-charge analysis process. Advanced Energy’s iHP series configurable intelligent high-power system now offers more power without consuming more space! When the 12 kW 3-slot modules are used in a configuration we can achieve 24 kW with two remaining slots for 3 kW modules, which provides the total output power of 30 kW. With an identical form factor as the 24 kW model, the new iHP15 and iHP30 models squeezes up to 30 kW of accurate, stable and reliable power into a 3U high 19” wide rack-mountable system when operated at 480V 3-phase input. In addition, the new iHP15 offers an additional 3 kW in the smaller 12 kW model. The iHP series provides accuracy, resolution and stability as either a programmable voltage or current source for a wide range of industrial, lighting/horticulture, and semiconductor applications. The added power of the iHP30 can be configured for up to four outputs and the iHP15 up to 2 outputs using a variety of 12 kW and 3 kW plug-in modules to address a wide range of voltages and currents. The power supply has industrial safety and options for SEMI F47 compliance. The iHP offers either an analog or a digital interface supporting standard protocols, while a GUI eases configuration and user-dashboard creation. bit.ly/3zwfSEU
