🎉 Celebrating a major milestone with one of my clients this week! 🎉 Transforming an association’s constitution is no small feat, but achieving a 99% success rate in voting for the new constitution is truly remarkable. The previous constitution was outdated and no longer aligned with modern governance standards, so this update was crucial. * The new constitution includes significant improvements, such as: * Director remuneration * The ability to hold meetings and conduct voting using technology * Adoption of circular resolutions * Reducing the board size while allowing for external director appointments * Extended board director terms (from 1 year to 3 x 3-year terms) * Empowering the board to appoint the office bearers This change positions the association for stronger governance and a brighter future. #Governance #ConstitutionalReform #AssociationLeadership
