AEW Europe announces the off-market acquisition of a new logistics asset located in one of the main logistics markets and industrial hubs in Germany. The asset, which is rented by a public institution with a firm ten-year lease, was delivered at the end of 2023 and consists of three modern, independent buildings of varying sizes totalling c. 7,000 sqm. The asset’s high degree of flexibility allows the space to be divided up into seven units of different sizes. What was once a space covered in asphalt with little shade has been transformed into a vibrant and engaging place for students and the entire community to enjoy. Complete with lush greenery and exciting play equipment, this new schoolyard promises to be a haven of fun and safety for students while also serving as a fantastic park for the 6,000+ residents who live nearby. With support from AEW and in partnership with Boston Parks and Recreation and the local community, Chittick Elementary Community Schoolyard will help more Boston residents connect to a high-quality outdoor space close to home.
