  • Celebrating the season while celebrating our purpose! Our group came together not just for holiday cheer, but to support Project C.U.R.E. in their mission to deliver life-saving medical supplies to those in need worldwide. When we say “patient is our purpose,” it goes beyond our daily work – it’s about making healthcare accessible to all. After volunteering at Project C.U.R.E., our growing Affinity team gathered for a festive holiday lunch to celebrate another year of success and welcome the many new faces who've joined this year. We’re grateful for everyone who helps us deliver on our promise that patient is our purpose. Thank you to our incredible colleagues who embodied our values by dedicating their time to help sort and pack vital medical supplies. Together, we're making a difference in global healthcare, one community at a time. #HealthcareForAll #GivingBack #CompanyCulture #ProjectCURE #AffinityGrowth

  • The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the detrimental impact of delays in accessing medical care. Over the past four years, telemedicine has become a standard practice across healthcare systems, thanks to the collaboration of influential medical organizations that leveraged their expertise and advocacy to facilitate its implementation. With the support of national and state medical groups such as the American Telemedicine Association, Florida Medical Association, and Texas Medical Association, telemedicine is now widely accessible. • The American Medical Association (AMA) has consistently led the charge in enhancing practice management and private sector advocacy tools, empowering physician practices to advocate for a reduction in administrative burdens. • Health care associations are in an optimal spot for innovation. Rather than thinking about a medical association as a traditional, or old fashioned place for meetings and CME, reframe how you view the association. A place to accelerate! While education and meetings are essential, we would argue that the most important thing about a medical specialty association is its centralized thought leadership hub.
