📢 Reimbursement for Digital Therapeutics in Spain: The Key to Scaling Innovation For #startups in Spain’s #healthcare sector, the ability to innovate and make a real impact with #DigitalTherapeutics (DTx) depends on more than just great ideas—it requires a clear, standardized framework for evaluating and validating the value these technologies bring to the healthcare system. Without this, innovation risks stagnation, and the potential of these solutions to transform #healthcare and improve #patient outcomes remains limited. Startups face significant barriers when trying to integrate DTx into the public healthcare system, primarily because there is no consistent method for evaluating the clinical, economic, and social value of these innovations. Without a clear #reimbursement model, startups lack a defined go-to-market pathway, and we risk losing many great solutions that could save patients. 🔑 Why Startups Need a Framework for Digital Therapeutics in Spain: 1️⃣ Fostering Innovation: A clear, approved #evaluation framework ensures a way to prove the effectiveness of their solutions. This will help reduce barriers to #marketentry and allow promising innovations to move from development to widespread adoption in Spain’s healthcare system. 2️⃣ Sustaining Growth: Without validation, startups may struggle to secure the necessary financing to scale their solutions.
