We reached many milestones this year, including: • Our Build California program served over 54,000 students and jobseekers, counseled 131 individuals and placed 25 in jobs or training programs. • Our Training & Education program hosted 3,598 individuals from 680 companies in on-demand, live virtual, and in-person training. • Our Small/Underrepresented Business program welcomed over 700 attendees to the Virtual and Southern California SBCX events. • Our Scholarships & Giving program contributed $105,000 in scholarships and grants. The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of California, the voice of the construction industry since 1920, is an organization of construction firms and industry-related companies committed to improving our physical environment through our commitment to the principles of Skill, Integrity and Responsibility. Representing Firms Statewide The Associated General Contractors of California represents nearly 600 contractors and specialty subcontractor member companies throughout California. In addition, AGC is supported by more than 400 associate member companies, including suppliers, equipment manufacturers, law firms, insurance companies, accounting firms, and other diverse organizations that support California's construction industry. Members Span Diverse Industry Our members represent the full spectrum of the construction industry, from some of the state's smallest business enterprises to some of the nation's largest construction companies, with annual construction volumes ranging from less than $100,000 to more than $100 million. AGC member companies are owned by shareholders, families, and individuals. Building California’s Vital Facilities AGC members build the state's highways and bridges, the office buildings, hotels, shopping centers, plants, refineries and manufacturing facilities.
