At Agmatix, we recognize that tailoring regenerative agriculture to specific cropping systems presents significant challenges, often complicated by limited data. We’re thrilled to announce our latest publication in Nature Magazine (read it here: https://hubs.ly/Q02Y3Bfh0), authored alongside experts Shai Sela, PhD, Achim Dobermann, Tal Svoray, Carlos Eduardo Cerri, Harold Van Es, Joseph Amsili, PhD, Sanjay Biradar, Uria Luzon and Sagi Katz (Ph.D). This publication demonstrates the potential of an expert-based model, using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), to prioritize regenerative practices tailored to specific cropping systems. In the paper, we compare three diverse systems—table grapes in India, soybeans in Brazil, and maize in the U.S. Midwest—to highlight the importance of context-specific regenerative practices. This approach forms the foundation of our RegenIQ Powered by Agmatix framework, enabling organizations to adapt regenerative efforts to local cropping conditions and create supply chain-wide impact. Our paper also illustrates how RegenIQ monitors 15 effort and outcome indicators across 30 vineyards in Maharashtra, India, successfully identifying sustainability gaps and supporting the advancement of site-specific regenerative agriculture. #Soil is the foundation of food production. This year's theme for #WorldSoilDay is 'Measure, Monitor and Manage', highlighting the importance of using soil data to guide #regenerativeagriculture practices. By assessing soil health, tracking its changes over time, and applying regen ag practices, we can enhance soil quality, prevent erosion, and improve water retention. Let’s all "dig in" to support sustainable soil management and safeguard our future! #Sustainability #Agriculture | FAO | RegenIQ Powered by Agmatix
