We had a fantastic meeting today in Mwenezi, Zimbabwe, with 26 amazing young people! We talked about ending gender-based violence and making sure our communities are held accountable for keeping the promises made to protect women and girls – all the way back to the Beijing Conference! These young leaders are ready to make a difference. Their energy and ideas were inspiring. We discussed practical ways to tackle violence and ensure everyone's voice is heard. Yesterday was a fantastic day! We celebrated the 39th International Day of Volunteering, with the inspiring theme: "Volunteerism: A tool for socio-economic and professional integration of youths!" It was amazing to collaborate with so many like-minded organizations. The knowledge shared was incredibly enriching, and we learned so much from each other. We're so grateful to have been a part of this important event.
