A little demo video to demonstrate what AI VIDEO #OUTPAINTING means for CREATORS. I generated several video clips in Runway's Gen-3 Alpha from the same keyframe image using CAMERA CONTROL and the new EXPAND VIDEO feature. This new feature almost seamlessly fills in the empty areas when expanding video formats from  [ 9:16 --> 16:9 ] and [ 16:9 --> 9:16 ]. This is a huge STEP forward to create highly detailed and complex AI VIDEO sequences in a very short time. With this workflow, you can generate not just one but a SET of variation shots ( close-up, medium, wide ) for your video editing. Interesting AI Use Case of the week: "Use Runway Video Expand to expand old 4:3 footage to 16:9" Why is this great? ❇️ You are not changing the whole scene by just adding a few pixels to the sides. ❇️ This is not taking away anyone's work, as this was impossible beforehand. ❇️ It helps to keep your memories in the ideal aspect ratio (you being in need of that, that can be argued) Would I try it out? I think it's too much of a hassle. However, one could combine this with a restoration project of old footage (music videos, movies, memories). Not a situation I would want to find myself in These beasts were a test to show epic scale. In the prompt I tried words like Gigantic, Massive, Epic, Huge but the word that helped get these guys looking larger than life was Colossal. Another thing that helped with the scale was the position and shot type - "Shot from behind". The small person standing in front of the animal helped with perspective and scale. Example Midjourney prompt: Shot from behind a tiny man standing in awe, facing the full body of a colossal wolf standing on all fours in a misty woodland clearing. The wolf’s dense fur is rendered in lifelike detail, with shades of gray, white, and black blending seamlessly, and individual strands catching the soft light.
