This week, the ARISA - AI Skills Alliance partners from across Europe🌍 came together at DIGITALEUROPE's HQ in Brussels to share updates, celebrate progress, and plan for what’s next. 🎤 Highlights from our sessions: 👉 Partners from Warsaw School of Computer Science, Utrecht University of Applied Sciences, and Budapest University of Technology and Economics gave us insights into their ongoing #AI learning programme pilots. 👉 University of Ljubljana introduced their AI self-study course – more details soon! 🚀 ARISA at ICODSIP 2024! Today, Chiara Longobardi Esposito Cesariello, ARISA - AI Skills Project Manager, presented the project at the ICODSIP 2024 conference, organised by CEPIS, Universidad de Alcalá, and ATI Comunicación.   Chiara showcased how ARISA is bridging the gap between market demands and the relevance of #AI education and training. By developing modular educational programmes tailored to EU market needs, ARISA prioritises flexible learning outcomes over rigid, standardised curricula—ensuring learners are equipped with skills for the future.   👏 This inspiring event brought together experts from academia, industry, and policy to tackle critical challenges, including the #DigitalSkills gap, #Cybersecurity, and the pressing need for upskilling to build a digitally resilient Europe by 2030. 🔒 As AI reshapes industries, it brings both new cybersecurity risks and innovative solutions. 🛡️Andrew Tuson from the Warsaw School of Computer Science and Xander Lub from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) explain how cybersecurity is integrated into the soon-to-be-published ARISA curricula and AI learning programmes. 👀Looking ahead, ARISA will continue to address these issues through its upcoming online platform, where AI and cybersecurity will be part of the course offerings.
