The Alabama Emergency Management Agency, in collaboration with the Governor's Office of Volunteer Services and various state and federal organizations, is dedicated to educating citizens on disaster preparedness. On September 19th, Governor Kay Ivey officially proclaimed September as National Preparedness Month. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to review and update their emergency plans.
