DRY DOCKS ARE CRITICAL TOOLS for any shipyard in maintaining  and upgrading vessels and floating assets. ACMA has a long-standing record of developing docking plans for client vessels. We work closely with vessel owners and yards to create the necessary cribbing and loading conditions tailored to each specific docking repair scenario. In many cases, keel blocks may need to be omitted to facilitate access to specific areas of a ship or to prevent instruments from protruding through the hull near the centerline. ACMA thoroughly verifies the vessel's strength and the dry dock to ensure that neither is overloaded during the docking process. Furthermore, we specialize in engineering and designing new dry docks for shipyards. ACMA also provides inspection and engineering services for repairs and modifications to dry docks. Additionally, we assist shipyards in achieving regulatory compliance for their dry docks, enabling them to carry out drydock work for various US Government vessels, including those of the USCG, MARAD, and NOAA.
