When it really matters.

About us

For more than forty years, AlixPartners has helped businesses around the world respond quickly and decisively to their most critical challenges – circumstances as diverse as urgent performance improvement, accelerated transformation, complex restructuring and risk mitigation. These are the moments when everything is on the line – a sudden shift in the market, an unexpected performance decline, a time-sensitive deal, a fork-in-the-road decision. But it’s not what we do that makes a difference, it’s how we do it. Tackling situations when time is of the essence is part of our DNA – so we adopt an action-oriented approach at all times. We work in small, highly qualified teams with specific industry and functional expertise, and we operate at pace, moving quickly from analysis to implementation. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our clients until the job is done, and only measure our success in terms of the results we deliver. Our approach enables us to help our clients confront and overcome truly future-defining challenges. We partner with you to make the right decisions and take the right actions. And we are right by your side. When it really matters. • Initially set on a medical career, AlixAlumni Tej Patel pivoted to consulting after a chance encounter at a career fair. At AlixPartners, he gained invaluable hands-on experience working directly with senior leaders and clients, preparing him for the multifaceted challenges of running his family's business, Techevon. Tej credits AlixPartners with teaching him to "ruthlessly prioritize" his time, a lesson he applies daily as he drives innovation and growth at Techevon. He remains an active member of the AlixAlumni community, where he continues to share his insights and leverage his network. #AlixAlumni

  • “Be brave!” That was AlixPartners Partner Yvette Zhang’s message to attendees at last year’s Women Automotive Summit in Detroit. Yvette, who was the event’s keynote speaker, was asking women to seize opportunities brought upon by disruptions in the global auto industry, but it is also advice that Yvette has embodied throughout her career. Click below to read more about how Yvette has lived this two-word mantra as she moved across the globe to attend business school at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, in her work advising her clients on future tech in the auto industry, as a diversity champion both inside our firm and out, and in her hobbies as a marathon runner and avid traveler (most recently scuba diving with sharks in Australia). https://lnkd.in/gXyq2Yey #lifeatalixpartners

  • We’re excited to announce the refurbishment of our Tokyo office. This investment underscores our continued growth within the region and across the globe. The design concept is based on a harmony of elegance, naturalness and Japanese style. Taking advantage of the location with a view of the lush greenery of the Imperial Palace Gardens, soft light pours in through the windows on three sides of the floor. The working space is completely free-address. The zone design switches between concentration and relaxation modes, supporting employee productivity and collaboration. This new office also strengthens AlixPartners' connectivity across Asia, enhancing collaboration and bringing our Tokyo and Asia team closer together. We look forward to continuing to deliver exceptional solutions for our clients across the region and beyond.
