After a successful career in turnaround consulting and private equity, former AlixPartners Director Luke Ericson is now driving the next phase of growth at Gibson, the iconic 130-year-old guitar maker. Luke attributes the rapid pace of his career development to AlixPartners, where he had the chance to work hands-on with brilliant people across a variety of industries and companies. "The benefit of consulting is you get lots of repetitions, and the pace of learning is so much faster than in a traditional corporate role,” Luke explains.   Though he has moved on from AlixPartners, Luke remains closely connected through former colleagues and his wife, whom he met at the firm and who still works there. “You form deep friendships working in challenging, high-stakes situations,” he says. These bonds, forged over late-night dinners and high-pressure projects, continue to be a source of support and camaraderie.   Discover more about his career journey and how AlixPartners is helping him hit all the right notes as Gibson’s COO: https://lnkd.in/eNT_t68q

When you’ve visited 30 countries and lived in four, you develop a serious appetite for cultural learning— just ask Rosalie Rukerebuka. Rosalie is an avid traveler with a particular passion for solo trips that push her out of her comfort zone, expanding her worldview. “After experiencing people of African heritage in the workforce in three different continents and economies, I learned so much. It is easy to get caught up in a social construct of whichever country you're living in and their societal norms. Wherever you live, I think it's important to advocate for your own capabilities and maintain a sense of self, which you should nurture internally outside of how people perceive you.” Rosalie brings enthusiasm for individuality to work, where she leads Diversity & Inclusion talent acquisition strategy. In between travels, she finds inspiration by visiting museums, spending time in nature, and learning about Black leaders like the late Wangari Maathai, Kenyan activist and the first woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. “Maathai is known for her activism and resilience in the face of challenge. She was also the first East and Central African woman to receive a PhD – focused on environmental and women’s rights, all while facing adversity at almost every step. Her persistence to lead change is something I try to bring to all that I do.” #BlackHistoryMonth #TeamAlixPartners

  • Disruption is on the rise—but so is executive confidence in responding to it. AlixPartners Co-CEO David Garfield recently spoke with Fortune to discuss results from the 2025 AlixPartners Disruption Index, our annual survey of 3,200 executives. Most significantly, while executives are reporting higher levels of overall disruption, those in the CEO “hot seat” are conversely more optimistic about facing its challenges. See more perspectives on disruptive forces from the C-suite below. #AlixPartnersDisruptionIndex #csuitetrends

With support from friends, family, and his AlixPartners colleagues, Tabarak's run across his homeland raised more than $750,000 for The Citizens Foundation, supporting 5,500 Pakistani children with access to education. The goals were to stay cool, not get injured, and remember what inspired it all. “I was starting at my high school and ending at my college. It was an intentional route to symbolize the importance of education," shared Tabarak.
