Making healthcare decisions for family members can feel overwhelming, but you're not alone in this journey. ⚠️ IMPORTANT CALLOUT: Before You Apply ⚠️ Medicare Home Health Does NOT Cover: • 24-hour-a-day home care • Meal delivery services • Homemaker services (shopping, cleaning, laundry) • Personal care by home health aides when it's the only care needed • Custodial care alone (help with bathing, dressing, eating) • Long-term daily care • Transportation services If you need any of these services, you'll need to explore alternative coverage options or payment methods. Now, here's what you need to qualify for covered services: Key Requirements for Coverage: 1. Patient must be under a doctor's care with a established care plan 2. Medical necessity requirement: Must need at least one of:   - Intermittent skilled nursing care   - Physical therapy   - Speech-language pathology   - Occupational therapy   - Home health aide services 3. Care must be provided by a Medicare-approved home health agency 4. Doctor must certify patient as homebound (difficulty leaving home without assistance) 5.
