Empowering the next generation of clinical genomics: Monogenic + Polygenic
About us
Allelica is a software and research company democratizing access to clinical-grade Polygenic Risk Score. Allelica is the first Company to have developed a Software as a Service and on-premise infrastructure to allow clinical genetics labs and biopharma companies to perform Polygenic Risk Score analysis in multiple ancestries. Our research work has been published in the American Heart Association Journal, Circulation and presented in the most prestigious conferences in genomics (ASHG) and cardiology (ESC). Our mission is to reduce human suffering making better medicine. We believe in a data-driven primary prevention, able to detect high risk individuals who benefit from personalised prevention and screening plans. www.allelica.com

At Allelica, we’re dedicated to advancing precision medicine for common diseases by increasing inclusivity across all ancestral backgrounds. We’re excited to share that at the ASHG Annual Meeting in Denver last week, we introduced a new approach to modeling human genetic diversity in polygenic risk score analysis. This method removes predefined labels, allowing for a more accurate representation of human diversity. Our “8 Billion” method improves prediction accuracy across diverse genetic backgrounds by 81% (Brier score) and cuts misclassifications by 24% (Net Reclassification Improvement). Stay tuned for more details in our upcoming manuscript. Read our latest press release to learn more: https://lnkd.in/dvhkW4gS
