Nick never experienced anything like the Startup Challenge. This four-day business hackathon, hosted by Intrapreneurs@Allstate, gave him the chance to help innovate our customer experience. After interviewing experts, as well as everyday folks in downtown Chicago, Nick's team pitched an idea that would better personalize renewal communications, so customers feel Allstate truly has their back. Nick walked away with a wider Allstate network and new skills to grow his career. "Insurance may sound boring on the outside, but it is actually a fun environment to work in," he said. Allstate reports third quarter results Allstate’s focus on near-term performance and long-term growth resulted in strong financial returns and an improved strategic position. Revenues increased by 14.7% from the prior year and net income was $1.2 billion. Third quarter results reflect successful execution of our auto profit improvement plan and include the impact of Hurricanes Beryl, Debby, Francine and Helene. In response to those events, we deployed over 5,000 people to handle more than 100,000 claims, helping our customers recover from these storms.
