Recently, ALTER Dementia was thrilled to collaborate with the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers to bring you the Dealing with Dementia (DWD) Program: A Guide for Black Caregivers. This program was created to provide family caregivers with practical tools and guidance for supporting loved ones with dementia. For support, participants will receive the comprehensive Dealing with Dementia manual, packed with strategies, resources, and valuable information to help them navigate the caregiving journey. Additionally, caregivers will join a four-hour interactive workshop to learn how to maximize the guide alongside others on a similar path.
