What an inspiring and fun evening at Torani (R. Torre & Co.) headquarters for the AMBayArea manufacturing mixer! 🥂⚙️ I had the privilege of meeting Melanie Dulbecco, Torani’s CEO, who shared her incredible journey of growing the company’s revenue 500X since stepping into the role. Her insights on leadership and cultivating a growth mindset were both motivating and humbling. As part of the evening, we also got to enjoy a Torani tasting in their very cool speakeasy—such a fun and unique experience! And yes, Torani is the same company that sweetens your favorite coffees and drinks! ☕✨ Grateful to Association of Manufacturers Bay Area for creating this opportunity to bring the manufacturing community together and spotlight inspiring leaders like Melanie. Events like this remind me of the power of connection and collaboration in our industry. 💡 What leadership lesson has inspired you most this year? 🌟 #WomenInLeadership #AMBayArea #ManufacturingMatters #GrowthMindset

Last week I had the honor to speak to 170 female students and volunteers at the Girls Lead The Way Stem Summit in San Ramon, CA where I shared my story of leaving the glitzy Hollywood to enter the awesome world of Manufacturing! I showed them the difference between subtractive and additive manufacturing and then closed off with 5 life lessons. The girls were so engaged and were excited to hear how things are made in a machine shop. I reinterated how important we needed their generation to make things in America again. ⚙️🇺🇸🤗 The summit was sponsored by Chevron in partnership by Bay Area LEEDS and Contra Costa Transportation Authority Thank you April Treece + Anita Miller for the opportunity! #womeninmanufacturing #manufacturing #speaker
