The ACI Concrete Convention has numerous educational opportunities for younger members to learn how to use ACI documents and practices in the real world.🌟 During the most recent fall convention there were two sessions designed to help young members understand the value of ACI resources on the job: The objective of the session, “How Young Professionals Learn Constructability in the Real World,” was to discuss ways in which new graduates entering the industry can apply critical thinking and learn constructability through their formal education, work supervisors, mentors and others as they try to navigate their way into successful careers. The 2-hour event welcomed more than 100 attendees and featured presentations by experienced and emerging professionals in the industry! The goal of the session, “Concrete Design 201: Design of Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Mixtures,” was to teach younger members how to identify and apply relevant ACI documents to address fiber-reinforced concrete mixture designs as well as connect them to ACI technical committees involved in research in this area. 💡 ➡️Learn More About Programs for Young Members: https://lnkd.in/gtiCGGdy
