We’re excited about several new projects in development that will benefit Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO) customers. These initiatives address our customers' growing capacity demands while reinforcing our dedication to diverse and sustainable power generation. Thank you to our SWEPCO team for finding innovative solutions to deliver reliable and affordable energy to the communities we serve. #PowerGeneration
To serve our customers now and in the future, SWEPCO shared plans today for several generation projects aimed at enhancing our energy portfolio. Pending regulatory approval, these efforts will include a 450-Megawatt (MW) natural gas plant at the decommissioned Hallsville, TX facility and the conversion of coal-fired burners to natural gas at our Welsh Power Plant near Cason, TX. We want to express our heartfelt appreciation to our stakeholders, for their ongoing support.
