About us
At the National Veterans Outreach Program, our mission is to provide ongoing housing, employment and wellness services to Veterans and the underserved in order to stabilize their living conditions and support them in becoming productive members of their communities. Our goal is to establish and maintain a comprehensive community one-stop resource for transformative services as they transition from homelessness/crisis to a healthy, productive and self-reliant lifestyle. We employ nearly 200 hard-working people across Texas. Currently, we have offices in San Antonio, Austin, Houston, El Paso, Dallas, Fort Worth and Plano.

The final laptop collection stop on Taskforce Uplifts 2024 "Operation #Texas, Tech for Vets" tour took place yesterday at Kohler Co. HQ on a brisk fall day! Thanks to the "behind the scenes" leadership and organizational efforts of the Kohler KAVS (Kohler Alliance for Veterans and Supporters) President, Andrea Havlik, fellow KAVS team members, and our friends in Kohler IT, another batch of laptops was "picked, packed, and prepared to be shipped" to our central storage location at El Paso Water bringing our total to nearly 600 devices to be delivered to #veterans in need throughout Texas! None of this would be possible without the community support of these wonderful #Wisconsin based companies; Kohl's, Rockwell Automation, and Kohler Co.. Week of the 28th, the drops will take place in El Paso, San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Fort Worth. Together.....veterans will feel the impact!
