Can you name the four faiths represented in this picture from Haifa, Israel? Each year, the city of Haifa puts up a “Holiday of Holidays” display that celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, and, in the background, the Bahá’í Temple. This display represents the rich diversity of Israel and reminds us of the beauty of coexistence, especially during challenging times.

Romi Gonen has spent 443 days as a hostage in Gaza. She doesn't have access to her medicine for her chronic illnesses. She doesn't have access to healthcare. Her sister Yarden has been fighting tirelessly for her release since her abduction last October. She should be at home, where she can be safe and healthy, not lingering in captivity. We thank the Congressional Bipartisan Women's Caucus for lifting up Yarden's voice. #bringthemhome

Launched earlier this month, AJC and USCCB's Translate Hate: The Catholic Edition features Catholic commentary on various entries of AJC’s renowned glossary of antisemitism. As Catholic and Jewish communities prepare to mark six decades since 1965's "Nostra Aetate" declaration, Bishop Bambera joins us to mark the launch of this groundbreaking initiative. Or Levy arrived at the Nova music festival less than 10 minutes before Hamas began its rampage. The terrorists murdered his wife, Einav, and took him hostage in Gaza, where he has remained captive for 441 days with 100 others. His 3-year-old child is waiting for his return. His brother Michael spoke to the UN Security Council, urging the international community to act to #BringThemHome now.

For 245 agonizing days, Noa Argamani was in Hamas captivity in Gaza—a nightmare no one should ever face. Her health was in grave danger and her suffering was unimaginable. 100 hostages are still being held. There is no time to waste. We must #BringThemHomeNOW.

“Words are not enough.” In an interview with the Jewish Chronicle in London, during his visit to several European capitals to urge immediate action against the rising tide of antisemitism, AJC CEO Ted Deutch said: “We’ve seen rising antisemitism across the globe. Elected leaders must do more—concrete, meaningful steps to ensure Jewish safety and combat hate. What happens in one country impacts us all.” The fight against antisemitism is global, and AJC is leading the way—turning advocacy into action. 🌍✡ https://lnkd.in/eRb8_2Uj
