Congratulations to Weon Hi Kang, MSN, AGACNP-BC, FNP-C, RN on being awarded the Nurse Hero Award at this year's 2024 ANA-NY Gala & Awards Ceremony! 🌟 Weon Hi Kang provided care and nursing to COVID-19 patients on the frontlines, demonstrating remarkable courage and selflessness in the face of adversity. In addition to her invaluable contribution, she also took the initiative and collaborated with the greater New York Korean Nurses Association to pack masks in her front yard for several months, distributing them to over 800 nurses. She provided treatment to many nurses who were infected with the virus and unable to access health care, ultimately saving their lives.
