👁️ Droopy eyelids can result from factors like aging, muscle weakness, or genetics. When it comes to a cosmetic eyelid lifting, an upper eyelid blepharoplasty is a popular solution. This procedure removes excess skin and sculpts fat, lifting the eyelids to restore a more youthful and refreshed appearance. Oculofacial plastic surgeons combine their expertise in ophthalmology and plastic surgery to deliver results that enhance both aesthetics and confidence. As experts in the eyes and facial aesthetics, oculofacial plastic surgeons can provide youthful, aesthetically-pleasing results while keeping a keen eye on the delicate ocular area. ✨ Trust a member surgeon with the Oculofacial Society to provide specialized care for your patients' delicate eye areas. Encourage your patients to practice safety this holiday season. One of the top ways someone gets a facial injury during the holidays is accidents related to Christmas decorations and activities, such as: 1. Christmas Tree Accidents: Falling branches or sharp edges on artificial trees can pose a risk. 2. Ornament Injuries: Breaking glass ornaments can result in sharp cuts or puncture injuries to the face and eyes. 3. String Lights & Electrical Decor: Sharp corners, tangled cords, or electrical hazards can result in injuries if someone trips or falls. 4. Holiday Toys and Gadgets: Toys that shoot, have sharp edges, or contain small projectiles pose a significant risk, especially for children. 5. Festive Fireworks (New Year's Eve): Improper handling or close proximity to fireworks can result in severe face and eye injuries. Encourage your patients to celebrate safely this holiday season and avoid spending what should be your festive family time in surgery. 🎁 Share this post to spread the word about winter holiday safety.
