Eric Minturn, Executive Director at Tiger Place Assisted Living, has been with Americare for 15 years. He believes that Americare offers endless opportunities to make a difference. His goal is to achieve success and create a meaningful impact. Here is Eric’s story:

Congratulations to our August RISING Values Awards recipient, Cathy Immel! Cathy embodies the “S” in RISING with her servant heart, always going the extra mile to support others. Each week, she delights her colleagues and residents with her “special recipe” desserts. Whether she’s helping new residents settle in, sending thoughtful cards and flowers, or taking the time to lend a hand, Cathy consistently demonstrates her dedication to caring for those around her.

Americare has been named one of the top 10 Global Fundraisers for The Longest Day this year! Even more exciting, our collective efforts have now surpassed $3 million in funds raised to combat Alzheimer’s! We can't express enough how grateful we are for everyone’s dedication and hard work. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your incredible contributions that have made this achievement possible. Americare is honored to play a key role in The Longest Day, supporting vital care and advancing research for Alzheimer’s.

Congratulations to our July RISING Values Awards recipient, Lillian Lawson. She puts the “I” in RISING through her passionate and fun that she brings to the Inspire Home Health team. She thoughtfully writes thank you, birthday, and sympathy cards for every team member, and extends the same kindness to all our clients in their homes. Lillian also lights up the office by bringing in fresh flowers, snacks, and a warm smile.

Congratulations to our June RISING Values Awards recipient, Brandi Beamon from Harmony Hill. She puts the “R” in RISING through her kindness and hospitality. She illustrates respect by believing residents have value and acts in light of that belief. Brandi’s displays of empathy with residents and families have built feelings of trust, safety and wellbeing, creating an environment built on compassion.

Congratulations to our May RISING Values Awards recipient, Taylar Wallace from North Point and Osage Nursing Center. She puts the “G” in RISING through her growth in the Americare family. Taylar started with Americare in May 2007 as a CNA. Since then, she has served as Activities Manager, Business Office Manager and now serving as the Outreach Coordinator. In each role she’s had, Taylar has supported the Administrative Team by learning new skills, managed care and worked with families.
