On November 11th of each year, we stop to recognize and pay tribute to all our military veterans, as well as reservists, and those who currently wear their respective uniforms proudly. Throughout our country’s history, brave men and women have answered the call of duty to defend our nation and our way of life. The actions of our servicemen and women have changed the course of history, touched lives, and spread freedom and democracy. Veterans Day is a time to remember and pay tribute to the brave men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces. Many in our Ameriflight family have served in the military and we would like to thank them for their courage and service. Over the last few weeks, we have operated three flights transporting over 170 cats and dogs from shelters impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton to safe havens across the country. In the process, one of our very own pilots, Captain Tom Stowe became smitten with a kitten. Tom says his new kitten "Colin" really stuck out to him. He shared a photo with his wife, one thing led to another, and now they've adopted Colin and are bringing him home. We are thrilled that Captain Stowe, along with other adopters, are able to provide these pets with good homes, helping them live great lives, despite the storm that blew in!
