  • The U.S. solar industry is entering a new era—one driven by a robust manufacturing renaissance that is reshaping the future of clean energy. At AMS Renewable Energy, we’re proud to be part of this transformation as a leading solar EPC, helping to build the infrastructure that will power the next generation of American energy. For years, the U.S. trailed in solar manufacturing, relying heavily on imports. But times have changed. With strategic investments, policy support, and an industry-wide commitment to domestic production, the U.S. now ranks 3rd in global solar panel manufacturing capacity—surpassing nations like Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. Recent data from Solar Energy Industries Association and Wood Mackenzie confirms this progress: American solar module factories now have the capacity to meet nearly all domestic demand, proving that solar made in America isn’t just a vision—it’s a reality. Beyond panels, the U.S. is seeing major investments in solar trackers, racking systems, inverters, and steel components—essential elements for large-scale solar projects. Manufacturing facilities are popping up across the country, from Arizona to Texas, Ohio to South Carolina. This surge is not just about energy security; it’s about creating thousands of high-quality jobs and strengthening the American economy. Here at AMS, we are witnessing this transformation firsthand. As a trusted EPC partner, we’re collaborating with developers and manufacturers to integrate these domestically produced components into cutting-edge solar projects nationwide. The solar industry’s growth isn’t slowing down. With over $36 billion in new investments and more than 44,000 manufacturing jobs on the horizon, America is on track to lead the global energy transition. But maintaining this momentum requires smart policies and continued commitment to building a resilient, self-sufficient energy supply chain. We’re excited about what’s ahead. We stand ready to drive the next phase of solar expansion, ensuring that clean energy is not just accessible but also built to last—right here in the United States. • At AMS Renewable Energy, we’re no strangers to adapting to nature’s challenges to deliver high-performing solar installations. In regions with glacial till soil conditions, we utilize ground screws as a foundation solution for solar PV systems—ensuring stability, efficiency, and long-term success for our projects. Why Ground Screws? Glacial till soils, often characterized by a mix of sand, gravel, silt, and clay left behind by retreating glaciers, present unique engineering challenges. Traditional foundation methods, like driven piles, can struggle with inconsistent soil density and large rocks commonly found in glacial till. That’s where ground screws excel. Key Advantages of Ground Screws in Glacial Till: ▶️ Adaptability: Ground screws can penetrate a variety of soil types, including rocky and uneven terrains. ▶️ Reduced Environmental Impact: They require minimal excavation, preserving the natural landscape and reducing site disturbance. ▶️ Faster Installation: Ground screws eliminate delays caused by challenging soils, accelerating project timelines. ▶️ Superior Stability: Engineered for strength, ground screws ensure the solar array's structural integrity even in less-than-ideal ground conditions. At #AMS, we combine innovative solutions like ground screws with our expertise in solar construction to overcome local geological challenges, enabling more communities to benefit from sustainable energy. 💡 Interested in learning more about how we tailor our solar solutions to your project’s unique needs? Let’s connect and discuss how we can help you power a greener future! #RenewableEnergy #SolarEPC #GroundScrews #Sustainability #Innovation #AMSrenewable

  • Meet the Cutest Team Players in Agrivoltaics 🐾☀️ We couldn’t resist sharing these adorable stock dog puppies, Colt and Kimber, from a local agrivoltaics-supporting business! These talented pups will grow up to help herd sheep, supporting sustainable grazing practices around solar farms. It’s always inspiring to see how agrivoltaics connects renewable energy with nature and other industries, from sheep grazing to stock dog training. Big thanks to the teams out there making #SolarGrazing and #Agrisolar a reality—and for giving us another reason to smile with these furry future ranchers! #Agrivoltaics #SolarRanching #Sustainability #StockDogs #CleanEnergy #AMS Renewable Energy

We have two new professional ranching team members! Welcome to the outfit, Colt & Kimber. These trained Border Collies will be working often gathering, driving, penning & more with sheep. Both dogs have spent some time on the trialing circuit & are no slouches! There comes a time when you have to ask yourself if you’re a shepherd or someone that shakes a bucket & hopes the animals come. Thanks to David Henry (Fieldstone Stockdogs) & Layton Henry for the opportunity to source such high quality #stockdogs. #Agrivoltaics is rippling out into the broader community. #Agrisolar provides connections to other businesses, like one that raises and trains dogs. #solargrazing #solarrancher #solarranching #GraysLAMBscaping PS - They love people.

  • At AMS Renewable Energy, we’re well-versed in the unique challenges of constructing solar farms in Upstate New York’s winter weather. The season brings snow, ice, and freezing temperatures that require careful planning and a focus on the safety of our team. Some of the strategies we implement include: ❄️ Snow Clearing and Site Prep: Before construction begins, we assess the site and remove snow build-up, ensuring the ground is stable for machinery and that work areas remain accessible. 🚜 Use of Cold-Weather Equipment: We deploy equipment designed for low temperatures, ensuring it operates efficiently despite freezing conditions. 🦺 Regular Safety Briefings: With slippery surfaces and shorter days, we hold frequent safety meetings to address specific risks, from icy walkways to proper layering for cold temperatures. 🌡️ Temperature Monitoring: We monitor both air and ground temperatures closely to ensure that materials are handled correctly and that the safety of workers is prioritized during cold spells. 👷 PPE Adaptations: We make sure all crew members have proper cold-weather personal protective equipment (PPE), including insulated gloves, footwear with traction, and winter-specific gear to reduce the risk of frostbite and hypothermia. Despite these challenges, we’re committed to staying on schedule and maintaining safety while building renewable energy infrastructure. #SolarEPC #SolarDevelopment #WinterConstruction #SafetyFirst #RenewableEnergy #CleanEnergy

  • The U.S. is witnessing a historic resurgence in solar manufacturing, solidifying its role as a global leader in clean energy. 🌞 In just a few years, we’ve jumped from 14th to 3rd place in global solar panel manufacturing, thanks to $36 billion in investments across states like Georgia, Ohio, Texas, and South Carolina. U.S. factories can now meet nearly all domestic solar panel demand, with more facilities coming online to produce critical components like inverters, trackers, and solar cells. This growth is creating thousands of high-quality jobs and reducing reliance on foreign supply chains. If we maintain supportive policies, America is on track to build the most complete solar manufacturing ecosystem outside of China. At AMS Renewable Energy, we’re proud to be part of this renewable revolution, delivering clean energy projects that power homes and businesses across the country.
