Practicing your skills is the best way to keep them sharp and improve them. I've known the basics of SQL for a while now, but recently I've been exploring the Analyst Builder platform, working my way through their MySQL courses and using their Questions feature to apply and grow that skillset. Alex Freberg and the team over there have done a really impressive job with this platform, providing a great place geared specifically towards data analysts and data professionals. Whether you're trying to break into the field, or you simply want to brush up on certain areas or skills, I'd highly recommend checking it out!

🚀 One of my favorite platforms to practice SQL is Analyst Builder. It offers a variety of free questions across four difficulty levels, perfect for sharpening my skills. 💡 This weekend, I tackled the "Direct Reports" question, where the goal was to create a table showing how many direct reports each manager has in a company. The challenge involved a single table containing employee_id, position, and managers_id columns. 🔑 To solve this, I used a self join, which is commonly used to process hierarchical data. In this case, the managers_id column references the employee_id column within the same table, enabling us to match employees to their respective managers. 💬What's your favorite platform to practice SQL? #SQL #DataAnalysis
