We are excited to announce the appointment of Jonathan Pertchik as Chief Executive Officer and the promotion of Dorothy Belshaw to President of ANDMORE.   Pertchik succeeds Robert Maricich, who founded ANDMORE (formerly International Market Centers “IMC”) in 2011. We're still recovering from the sensory overload that was Shoppe Object NY, but the numbers are in—and they’re almost as impressive as an exhibitor’s ability to survive on coffee each day alone. On the bright side: Attendance grew by double digits compared to last year, with eager participants showing up in two dimensions—on-site and online. Shoppe Object had buyers from 34 countries, from the sunny shores of Jamaica and Japan, all making their way to the trade show. The show floor? Absolutely buzzing! Buyer engagement went up 10x—yes, you read that right—10 times more buyers scanning QR codes like they were in some kind of retail treasure hunt. We saw a 30% jump in orders drafted right there on the floor, with digital order writing moving faster than a New Yorker late for the subway. Now, the not-so-great side: Hurricane Debbie decided to play party pooper, causing flight cancellations and some last-minute no-shows. But hey, that's why we always say—back up your plans with a solid online platform. Debbie might cancel flights, but she can't cancel the internet...yet. Special shoutouts to our rockstar exhibitors and ANDMORE , who really brought their A-game. And of course, big love to Shoppe Object for holding it all together like the world’s most stylish superglue.
