What's happening to the Experience Economy? AnyRoad CEO Jonathan Yaffe tells you what's happening behind the scenes across our global customer base and within the rest of the industry.
What's happening to the experience economy? (I get this question a dozen times a week) tl;dr It's a very binary Tale of Two Cities situation, but that's not a bad thing. Music festivals seem to be falling apart (see article below), but many bands are selling out their own tours in seconds, a number of prominent conferences have been cancelled, but attendance at non-cancelled conferences is very strong, Broadway shows' attendance is flat (but still below pre-pandemic levels), Live Nation Entertainment reporting record revenue, Eventbrite growth is weak. At AnyRoad, we're seeing significant consumer growth this year in attendance of events and brand homes for brands that consistently hit the mark from an engagement standpoint. For organizations and musicians with top quartile NPS and brand conversion in their core customer base, we're seeing consisent sold-out events and waitlists.
